Dr. Kenneth Jazdzewski, a distinguished dentist, began his journey in the field of dentistry at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, graduating in 1982. While pursuing his studies, Dr. Jazdzewski demonstrated a commitment to service by joining the United States Navy Reserves. His dedication quickly led him to active duty at the Great Lakes Naval Base, a mere week after his graduation.

Dr. Jazdzewski’s military career was marked by dedication and excellence. He served in active duty until June 1985, followed by several years in the Individual Ready Reserve. His time in the Navy not only honed his dental skills but also instilled in him a profound sense of discipline and service.

Post his military service, Dr. Jazdzewski embarked on his civilian dental career at Heritage Dental in Antioch, Illinois. Here, his expertise and leadership qualities shone through, eventually leading him to become an owner of the practice in 1993. His professional journey is characterized by a deep commitment to community service and patient care.

A notable highlight in Dr. Jazdzewski’s career was in 1992 when he treated two dozen Ukrainian orphans, sponsored by Faith Lutheran Church. Demonstrating his humanitarian spirit, he closed his office to exclusively treat these orphans, some of whom were later adopted by members of the congregation.

Dr. Jazdzewski’s compassion extends beyond local communities. He participated in a mission trip to Guatemala, providing vital dental treatments to orphans at a Hope Renewed facility and even offering his services in a local prison.

He has a special place in his heart for treating patients from Shepherds Ministries, a home and school for individuals with disabilities. His care for patients with Downs Syndrome and traumatic brain injuries highlights his inclusive and compassionate approach to dentistry.

Dr. Jazdzewski has been an active member of various dental societies including the American Dental Association (ADA), Chicago Dental Society (CDS), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), Lake County Dental Society, and is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the soon-to-be Kenosha County Dental Society.

Treating patients like family is at the core of Dr. Jazdzewski’s philosophy. His relationships often

extend beyond the professional, becoming family friends, a testament to his warm and personable approach.

Dr. Jazdzewski is happily married to his wife, Lisa, for 20 years and is a proud father and grandfather. He enjoys spending time with his three children and three grandchildren. His hobbies are diverse and family-centered, including drone flying, rocket launching, biking, park visits, walking his dogs, and spending time at the gun range. He is also active in his Bible study group.

A sports enthusiast, Dr. Jazdzewski favors Nascar, the Blackhawks, and the Packers.

For Dr. Jazdzewski, the greatest satisfaction in his career comes from making a difference in people’s lives, a reward that he cherishes deeply.
